Stocks Report

As of todays date we are currently sitting around 100 tonne of mixed tinned items, most of our stored items have good shelve lives between May of this year and into 2014 our stocks are suffficient for around 500 single boxes or 200 families. We are retaining a high level in anticipation of the new benefits revisions due in April such as the so-called bedroom tax. We are beginning to build our numbers of people helped at around the rate of three per week, and we cannot afford to be complacent so all donations are still welcome, just be aware of the need for long shelf life products.

To put this into context a large inner city food bank on a busy day would go through our stock in a morning, and as the news is getting out we are beginning to grow. Recent drive for certain items that were getting low again wonderful response from local community.

We are now comfortable in our stocks and will tick over nicely into winter.
